Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years leading or managing software engineers.
• Experience building enterprise or SaaS applications.
• Strong knowledge of cloud environments, APIs, cloud databases.
• Experience with remote or distributed teams.
• Mentor senior engineers and influence technical decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing software engineering team.
• Own engineering delivery, quality, and execution across products and platforms.
• Partner with Product and business leaders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture and technical design decisions.
• Improve engineering standards around scalability, reliability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Establish and strengthen development practices including CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, observability, secure software development.
• Identify technical risks and proactively address architectural or delivery issues.
• Manage engineering priorities, capacity, and technical debt.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, career development, performance management, and succession planning.
• Promote the responsible adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools and automation.
• Collaborate effectively within a distributed and remote organization.
