Highpoint Health with Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking a Scheduler to join the Central Scheduling team. The role supports scheduling across Sumner, Riverview, and Trousdale facilities, with onsite training followed by remote work from a designated home environment.

You will handle high volumes of patient calls, review physician orders, and ensure accurate entry of demographics and insurance details. Strong tech skills and patient-centered communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong computer and keyboard skills with ability to learn scheduling systems.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule diagnostic testing, procedures, and services across multiple facilities.
• Manage a high volume of scheduling requests and calls with accuracy and courtesy.
• Review physician orders to ensure required information is present for scheduling.
• Enter patient, scheduling, insurance, and order details into scheduling systems.
• Obtain and verify patient demographics and insurance information during scheduling.
• Explain appointment details and prep instructions to patients clearly.
