Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Delivery Manager for Healthcare Payer to lead end-to-end transformation programs in the United States. You will partner with product owners, architects, and clients to drive platform implementations, modernization, migrations, and enhancements.

You will oversee multiple workstreams, manage risks, and ensure alignment with business goals, governance, and release plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
10+ years of experience leading large-scale technology delivery programs.
Proven experience managing platform implementations, modernization programs, migrations, or digital transformation initiatives.
Strong experience with Agile delivery methodologies including Scrum, sprint planning, backlog management, release planning, and Jira governance.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams across business, technology, quality engineering, conversion, and integration.
Experience managing executive stakeholders, client leadership teams, vendors, and distributed delivery organizations.
Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations and related business domains.
Proven track record of driving delivery excellence through risk management, dependency management, resource planning, and governance.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of healthcare payer transformation initiatives.
Drive Agile execution across multiple workstreams including analysis, configuration, development, testing, conversion, integration and release management.
Establish and maintain delivery governance, sprint and release planning, dependency management, and stakeholder communications.
Manage program risks, issues, and impediments with mitigation plans.
Coordinate integrated planning, environment readiness, implementation activities, and production releases with client leadership, vendors, and internal teams.
