Job summary

Ascertain is hiring a fully remote Partner Operations Manager to lead a team of 10–12 associates and senior associates in healthcare operations. You will coach, develop, and evaluate staff while partnering with the Head of Partner Operations on staffing, workforce planning, and org development.

You’ll also drive hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and coaching, while staying hands-on ~25% of the time to remain current with payer changes and operational standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in healthcare operations.
• 2+ years leading or supervising operational teams.
• Experience coaching employees through performance management.
• Experience interviewing and onboarding employees.
• Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations.
• Experience with athenahealth and/or NextGen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, manage, coach, and develop a team of ~10–12 Partner Operations Associates and Senior Associates.
• Conduct one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development conversations.
• Support hiring through interviewing, candidate evaluation, and onboarding.
• Collaborate to improve quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a limited personal caseload (~25%).
• Monitor team performance metrics and identify coaching opportunities.
• Manage scheduling, PTO, attendance, and day-to-day employee support.
• Address performance concerns and implement development plans.
• Ensure consistent execution of operational standards across the team.
• Support change management and adoption of new technology.
