Job summary

TriWest Healthcare Alliance is seeking a Healthcare Operations Specialist to provide non-clinical support for our healthcare operations teams. The role involves data entry, CRM task processing, and handling calls in a virtual environment.

It requires strong attention to detail, prioritization, and the ability to improve workflows within a DoD-backed program. US citizenship is required and a favorable DoD background investigation is necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• 3+ years of administrative experience in a medical office, health insurance, or managed care operations setting, or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficient data entry skills and ability to navigate multiple IT applications.
• Must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final DoD background investigation.
• Preferred: MA or CNA, knowledge of Medical Terminology, prior MCO/TRICARE/VA experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactively evaluate and process assigned tasks within medical management and CRM systems per procedures.
• Manage and complete program registrations with supported staff.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls for medical management programs and provider inquiries.
• Conduct outreach to obtain medical documentation and facilitate program registrations.
• Comply with HIPAA protections for PII/PHI and protect patient privacy.
• Coordinate tasks with the operations leadership and other teams.
