Job summary

Roche is seeking a field-based IT installation specialist to manage remote and on-site deployment of IT product solutions at customer sites. You will determine needs, set expectations, validate solutions, and ensure client satisfaction while mentoring junior staff.

With experience in IT and laboratory environments, you will troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to project progress and regulatory compliance in a remote role across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years lab IT or 4 years IT experience.
• Experience installing and evaluating complex laboratory analyzers, IT products, Automation systems.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage remote and/or on-site installation of IT product solutions at a customer site.
• Determine customer needs and set installation expectations within time-frame.
• Perform validation process of IT solutions to evaluate effectiveness.
• Ensure customers are fully satisfied with IT product installation.
• Serve as a technical resource for higher-tier issues and manage critical customer situations.
• Participate in new hire training and mentoring activities.
