Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking an Implementation Specialist to install, monitor, and tailor client systems for our patient care infrastructure portfolio. You will collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and IT teams to ensure seamless deployment, rigorous testing, and positive customer outcomes across US sites.

Ideal candidates possess 4+ years in network equipment installation, leadership experience, and solid knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, with up to 90% travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or associates degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in installing and configuring network equipment.
• 1+ year of demonstrated leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience with communicating and remediating enterprise networking infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience implementing disaster recovery procedures.
• Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems.
• Understanding of cyber security vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, and customize clients' systems after an initial purchase of hardware or software.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Manager, Network Design and Digital services, customer IT and biomed to implement solutions.
• Assess and remediate existing infrastructure to support installation of new solutions.
• Perform installation, validation, and connectivity on assigned equipment as needed.
• Develop strong customer relationships and communicate project status to ensure satisfaction.
• Mentor and coach local field engineers on installed solutions and best practices.
• Maintain customer service logs, technical project plans, and post-warranty conversations with customers.
• Manage vendor service as needed and provide end-user instruction on equipment operation.
