MEDHOST, a division of Harris Computer, seeks an Account Follow-up Representative II to review and resolve outstanding insurance balances on hospital patient accounts. The role involves learning multiple hospital systems, researching complex claims, and coordinating with third-party payors to resolve unpaid balances.

Formación

• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes impacting insurance reimbursements.
• Proficiency with telephone systems for inbound/outbound calls.
• Ability to access PHI following guidelines and regulations.
• 3+ years’ experience in related field.

Responsabilidades

• Follow-up on hospital accounts for insurance payments; verify status and rebill as needed.
• Handle 40–50 accounts per day for assigned payor(s).
• Address denials and $0 pay reports within 24 hours of receipt.
• Collect demographics, clinical information, authorizations to resolve claims.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to complete assignments.
• Analyze denial trends and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
