Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Remote Customer Service Representative to support a healthcare services call center. This contract role focuses on assisting callers with pharmacy-related questions in a fast-paced remote environment.

Ideal candidates are customer-focused, with strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency, able to manage 60–80 calls per day, and provide first‑call resolution where possible. Equipment is provided, with pay on a bi-monthly schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
• Handle 60 to 80 inbound calls per day.
• Basic computer navigation skills.
• Ability to multitask while speaking with customers and using multiple systems.
• Ability to stay professional, patient, and accurate in a high‑volume call center environment.
• Must be available to work an assigned shift within the stated operating hours, including at least one weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Handle 60 to 80 inbound calls per day from customers, pharmacies, and healthcare providers.
• Assist callers with prescription benefits, home delivery medications, billing, payments, eligibility, coverage, claims, authorizations, and delivery questions.
• Research and resolve issues while navigating multiple computer systems and accurately documenting each interaction.
• Use active listening and probing questions to understand caller needs and work toward first‑call resolution.
• Provide a positive and professional customer experience while taking ownership of concerns and making follow‑up calls when needed.
• Meet expectations for quality, productivity, accuracy, attendance, and ongoing process knowledge.
