Equip is a fully virtual company providing evidence-based eating disorder treatment. We seek a Billing Specialist to file claims, manage patient statements, and optimize revenue cycle with our team of Insurance and Revenue Cycle specialists.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in healthcare billing or patient accounting.
• Experience with CMS 1500 claims.
• Strong communication and collaboration with diverse teams.
• Organized and results-driven.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving processes.

Responsibilities

• Timely filing of claims to insurance plans for patient services
• Follow up on claim status and mitigate submission errors and denials
• Accurate management of payment procedures, financial records, and claims processes
• Working closely with the revenue cycle team to ensure accurate patient accounting, statement management, payment posting, and reconciliation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
