Equip is a fully virtual treatment program providing evidence-based eating disorder care across all 50 states. The Medical Assistant will support seamless patient care and assist medical staff with administrative tasks from a home office.

Key duties include data entry, updating records, coordinating with providers, and ensuring confidentiality while working with a collaborative clinical team. This remote role offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with medical and clinical providers in a medical assistant role.
• CCMA or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent organization and administrative skills.
• Strong communication with high confidentiality.
• Experience navigating electronic medical records (EMRs).
• Willingness to take on additional tasks and be a strong team player.

Responsabilités

• Data entry, faxing, scheduling, and collection of outside priority records.
• Maintain and update patient medical records, entering vital signs and uploading documents.
• Monitor messaging on medical team chats and coordinate with staff as needed.
• Follow up on requested testing to ensure adherence to provider recommendations.
• Coordinate care with outside providers, including primary care and student health centers.
• Work cross-functionally with teams to ensure patient support.
• Enter patient information and data into EMR.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
