Job summary

DocGo is seeking a Billing Clerk - Payment Poster to post payments from patients and third-party payers, verify balances, and ensure accurate posting in our system. This remote role requires strong data entry, attention to detail, and reliable communication with payers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Payment Posting Specialist within a Hospital or Medical office setting.
• Experience in a large physician clinic or similar environment.
• Strong data entry and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliant handling of patient information.

Responsibilities

• Posting payments from patients and third parties.
• Adjusting patients' accounts.
• Processing incoming payments.
• Verifying write-offs.
• Faxing medical records to third parties as requested.
• Scanning documents.
• Confirming refunds to patients and third parties.
• Identifying payer issues.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
