Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and proper phone/email etiquette.
• Ability to read, understand and follow instructions.
• Experience handling payer communications and insurance questions.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and billing processes.
• Accurate documentation in ERP system and Excel/Outlook proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Service customer needs by billing accounts and ensuring remittance.
• Follow up with payers to facilitate cash flow.
• Address and resolve patient billing complaints.
• Edit and resubmit claims for payment as needed.
• Prepare and review clean claims for submission to insurances.
