Ovation Healthcare is seeking a remote Collections Specialist to follow up on insurance claims and accelerate cash collections for independent hospitals. You will resolve denials, document workflows, and escalate issues to management while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

The role requires prior hospital billing experience, knowledge of ICD-10/CPT/DRG, and strong Excel skills, with 100% remote work from a home office.

Qualificações

• Direct account follow-up and/or billing experience.
• Medical Terminology, ICD-10, CPT and DRG knowledge
• Intermediate experience in Excel preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Follow-up and collect on accounts in assigned inventory.
• Escalate unpaid claims to payer claims supervisor as needed.
• Document client’s host system using the 5 W’s framework and copy notes into Amplify’s workflow tool.
• Assign status codes in Amplify’s workflow tool to identify trends.
• Write first and second level appeals of denials to secure payment.
• May work assigned underpayments as directed by Management.
• Maintain client and/or position-specific daily productivity and quality expectations.
• Research and analyze related correspondence.
