Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or computer technology related field
• Demonstrated effective leadership and communication skills
• Demonstrated strong analysis, problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership and direction for department/area and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a group of employees including employee engagement, adoption of best practices, and problem resolution.
• Accountable to plan and manage the daily operations within the parameters of their departmental operating and capital budgets.
• Directs the work of employees including hiring, coaching and mentoring, performance management.
• Manages customer, stakeholder, and vendor relationships and expectations.
• Communicates with staff and manages resource allocation to projects to ensure timely delivery within budget and requirements.
• Coordinates interdependencies with other project teams and key stakeholders.
• Provides training opportunities to ensure staff competencies.
• Ensures staff follow defined support and service management best practices (incident, request, problems, change control).
• Facilitates SLA/OLA creation and measurement for assigned applications.
• Defines, manages, and monitors application-specific metrics (incident, time to resolution, satisfaction).
• Coordinates across IS teams to resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis and process improvements.
• Maintains technical deployment documentation and staff training.
