NCFE is recruiting Examiners for Level 1/2 Technical Award in Health and Social Care on a flexible remote contract. You will mark external assessments and submit results during the summer 2027 marking window, ensuring fair, accurate outcomes for learners.

Ideal candidates have Level 3+ Health and Social Care qualifications and current or recent Level 3+ teaching/assessing experience. You’ll work flexibly, with remote standardisation meetings and strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification at Level 3 or above in health and social care or closely related subject area.
• Current or recent teaching experience at Level 3 or above in a health and social care related subject, or significant recent occupational experience.
• Understanding of effective quality assurance and assessment processes.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Mark external assessments and submit results within the marking window.
• Apply the mark scheme consistently and report suspected malpractice or safeguarding concerns.
• Attend examiner standardisation and other meetings remotely, typically weekdays 9:00–17:00.
• Maintain confidentiality of NCFE materials and learner data; report breaches to the Assessment Delivery team.
