Job summary

NCFE is recruiting Examiners on a flexible remote contract to mark the Level 1/2 Technical Award in Child Development and Care in the Early Years. This role supports the Assessment Delivery team during the summer marking window, enabling you to contribute expert judgment from anywhere in the UK.

Ideal candidates will hold Level 3+ qualifications in child development or related subjects, have current teaching or assessor experience, and understand QA and assessment processes, with strong

Qualifications

• Level 3+ qualification in child development or early years.
• Current teaching or assessor experience at Level 3+.
• Understanding of quality assurance and assessment processes.
• Ability to work to deadlines and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Mark external assessments according to mark schemes.
• Submit results within the marking window.
• Maintain confidentiality of NCFE materials and learner data.
• Attend standardisation meetings remotely as required.
