Job summary

NCFE is seeking Examiners to join its Assessment Delivery team on a Flexible Worker Contract. The role covers marking external assessments for the T Level Technical Qualification in Health (Occupational Specialism - Supporting Therapy Teams) during the summer 2027 marking window.

As an Examiner you will apply the mark scheme consistently, report malpractice, attend standardisation meetings online, and maintain the confidentiality of assessment materials.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification at Level 3 or above in therapy or a closely related subject area.
• Current or recent teaching experience at Level 3 or above in a therapy related subject, or significant recent occupational experience within the sector.
• An understanding of effective quality assurance and assessment processes.
• The ability to work consistently within tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain the standard set by the Chief Examiner, applying the mark scheme consistently and accurately.
• Report suspected malpractice or safeguarding concerns to the Assessment Delivery team.
• Attend examiner standardisation and other meetings as required, remote and scheduled on weekdays 9.00am–5.00pm.
• Maintain the confidentiality of NCFE assessment materials, learner evidence and learner details.
