Job summary

Datavant is seeking an entry-level Associate to process all release of information (ROI) requests, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy while protecting patient privacy under HIPAA and company policy. The role is remote, full-time, with standard daytime hours and employer-provided equipment and training.

You will handle medical records requests, document in multiple platforms, and interface with patients, insurers, and attorneys, maintaining high data integrity and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to commute between locations as needed.
• Able to work overtime during peak seasons when required.
• Comfortable utilizing phones, fax, printers and other office equipment regularly.
• Professional verbal and written communication in English.
• Detail and quality oriented for accurate medical records.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process ROI requests per policies and HIPAA rules.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
• Operate facility software and stay updated on systems.
• Adhere to conduct policies and report site difficulties to management.
• Respond to requests quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.
