Zusammenfassung

SCAN Health Insurance is seeking a Medical Economics Analytics specialist to drive total cost of care savings by applying advanced analytics to claims, clinical, and contract data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to size opportunities across UM, medical policy, payment integrity, contracting, and benefit design.

The role requires 3+ years in healthcare data analytics, strong SQL and Python/R skills, and experience with Snowflake/Databricks and Power BI.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field.
• Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years working experience, preferably including healthcare industry experience.
• 3+ years applying data science and analytical methods to identify and quantify business cost opportunities.
• 1+ years SQL in relational databases.
• 2+ years Python and/or R.
• Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks and Power BI.
• Experience with Streamlit or similar data apps, preferred.
• GenAI/LLM tools for synthesizing structured and unstructured health plan data, preferred.
• Healthcare analytics and Medicare Advantage familiarity a plus.

• Identify and size TCOC savings opportunities across core medical cost levers.
• Apply data science methods to claims, clinical, and contract data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate analytic findings into strategy; support opportunity tracking.
• Mentor analytics practitioners and manage multiple projects.
• Shape SCAN’s analytics and AI strategy in coordination with stakeholders.
