Job summary

SCAN Health Plan invites a Senior Analytics role to join the Medical Economics Analytics team in Long Beach, CA. The candidate will combine health plan operations knowledge with data science and AI-enabled analytics to surface total cost of care savings opportunities across core levers.

You will collaborate with clinical, network, and finance stakeholders to translate analytic findings into strategic cost-management actions and support implementation across several programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in statistics, math, CS or related field.
• Graduate or advanced degree in statistics, math, CS or related field.
• 3+ years in analytics, preferably healthcare.
• 3+ years applying data science methods to quantify cost opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and size TCOC savings across core levers using data science methods.
• Prioritize opportunities based on highest value for SCAN.
• Communicate findings and savings sizing to Medical Economics, Finance, Network and Clinical teams.
• Mentor analytics practitioners and shape SCAN’s analytics and AI strategy.
