Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking an analytics professional to analyze large healthcare datasets, identify trends, and deliver insights that reduce costs and improve clinical outcomes. You will work with stakeholders across the organization to design, validate, and present data-driven recommendations.

The role requires 4+ years with large databases, proficiency in SQL, and knowledge of Python/R; PowerBI experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years of experience with large databases, data verification, and data management.
• Working knowledge of SQL and querying languages. Knowledge of Python and R preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze data from multiple sources including claims, provider, member, and encounters data.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot scripts and reports using SQL, Excel, or other analytics tools.
• Assist in design, testing, and implementation of process enhancements and automation opportunities.
• Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders; communicate findings to non-technical partners.
• Provide technical guidance to junior analysts.
