Job summary

Scan-Health-Plan is seeking a senior analytics professional to identify and size total cost of care savings opportunities across medical cost management levers using data science, GenAI, and AI-enabled workflows. You will collaborate with clinical, network, and finance teams to translate insights into action.

The role requires advanced analytics, SQL/Python, and experience in health plan data. Join a mission-driven nonprofit expanding care for seniors in California and beyond.

Qualifications

• 3+ years applying data science and analytical methods to identify and quantify business or medical cost opportunities
• 2+ years writing SQL code in relational database environment
• 2+ years writing code in Python and/or R
• Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks for ML/AI workloads
• Experience with Power BI
• GenAI/agentic AI experience preferred
• Healthcare industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Apply data science and analytical methods to claims, clinical, and contract data to identify, size, and prioritize TCOC savings opportunities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert findings into TCOC strategy
• Create requirements, test and validate analyses, communicate findings and savings sizing
• Support opportunity tracking through implementation
• Shape SCAN’s medical economics analytics and AI strategy and mentor teammates
