Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Health Plan Clinical Advisor to manage clinical relationships with health plans, coordinating with pharmacy support teams, pharmacists, medical directors and senior leaders.

You will lead multiple market segments, develop strategic plans to improve profitability and quality, and collaborate across internal partners to optimize formulary, UM and clinical programs while traveling up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of managed care pharmacist experience or 1 year in a managed care residency.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing.
• Experience in a client-facing role within managed care.
• Understanding of utilization management trends and programs.
• Highly organized with strong analytical and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Influence multiple decision makers at health plan and manage clinical relationships.
• Develop and execute business plans to meet client profitability and growth.
• Collaborate with internal partners to design formulary and UM programs.
• Provide consultative advice and follow up with clients on recommendations.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.
