CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Health Plan Clinical Advisor to manage the clinical relationship with health plans, influencing key decision makers and collaborating with pharmacy teams. You will develop and execute business plans, recommend formulary options, utilization management edits, and custom programs to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of managed care Pharmacist experience and/or 1 year of Managed Care Residency program.
• Active pharmacist license that is in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role within the managed care environment
• Demonstrated understanding of and experience with utilization management trends and programs within the managed care environment
• Highly organized, detail oriented, proficient analytical ability with effective listening & presentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the clinical relationship with health plans by influencing key decision makers and collaborating with the health plan’s pharmacy support team.
• Develop and execute comprehensive client business plans aligned to client priorities, financial targets and clinical goals.
• Recommend formulary options, utilization management edits and custom programs to meet client needs.
• Collaborate with internal partners on program design and formulary strategies to maximize value and control costs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements affecting formularies, UM and clinical programs.
• Travel up to 50% as needed and maintain strong client partnerships.
