Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Health Plan Clinical Advisor to manage the clinical relationship for health plan clients across Medicare, Medicaid, Exchange, or Commercial segments. You will influence key decision makers, collaborate with pharmacy support teams, medical directors and executives to drive profitability and better health outcomes.

This role requires 3+ years in managed care pharmacy, an active pharmacist license, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of managed care pharmacist experience and/or 1 year of Managed Care Residency program.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role within the managed care environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of and experience with utilization management trends and programs within the managed care environment.
• Highly organized, detail oriented, proficient analytical ability with effective listening & presentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the clinical relationship with health plan leadership and decision makers.
• Develop and execute business plans to support client profitability and growth.
• Collaborate with internal partners to customize formularies and utilization management options.
• Advise on formulary strategies and specialty drug options to optimize value for clients.
• Travel up to 50% to meet with clients and perform program education and outreach.
