Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Solution Architect for the Health Technology Management Services team. This fully remote role in the United States requires strong architecture skills, interoperability experience, and the ability to lead complex initiatives for the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information and Technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business field.
• 15 years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in Healthcare or Healthcare Insurance environments.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience as a technical lead or architect on complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop current and future state IT architectures for complex systems.
• Advise clients and build technology roadmaps and runways.
• Interact with users and stakeholders to determine needs.
• Document architecture across multiple environments and technologies.
• Support data interoperability and system-to-system integration.
• Oversee maintenance of existing applications while designing new solutions.
