Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Solution Architect to join the Health Technology Management Services (HTMS) team and provide contracted support to the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information and Technology. The architect will document current state architectures and develop future solution architectures across complex systems.

This role emphasizes data architectures, interoperability, and program management in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related discipline.
• 15 years of related experience; 10 years may substitute for education.
• Expert-level knowledge and highly innovative problem-solving.
• Experience in a Healthcare or Healthcare Insurance environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop holistic view of current IT architecture and future plans.
• Build advisory relationship with the client and align roadmaps with strategies.
• Interface with users/stakeholders to determine needs and track data.
• Propose architectural solutions in multiple environments and maintain maintenance architectures.
