Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Solution Architect for the Health Technology Management Services (HTMS) team to document current state architectures and develop solution architectures. The role supports the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information and Technology and is fully remote within the United States with core hours 8 AM to 5 PM ET.

We value strong data architecture experience, interoperability challenges, and program management.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree or higher and 15 years of related experience.
• Experience in healthcare or healthcare insurance environment preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop current and future state architectures and roadmaps.
• Engage with clients to determine needs and build trusted advisory relationships.
• Direct interface with users/stakeholders to determine needs.
• Propose architectural solutions in multiple environments.
• Maintain systems during maintenance phase and design new solutions.
• Lead and collaborate across diverse teams to execute modernization initiatives.
