Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Solution Architect to join the Health Technology Management Services (HTMS) team in a fully remote role across the United States. The architect will document current state architectures and develop future solution architectures to support complex, interoperable IT systems for the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information and Technology.

The candidate should bring deep data-architecture expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 15+ years related experience preferred.
• 15 years of related experience, or 10 years plus substituted for education.
• Experience in a Healthcare or Healthcare Insurance environment is a must.
• Experience with architecture in complex systems of systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop holistic view of current IT architecture and modernization initiatives.
• Build trusted advisory relationships with the client.
• Create technology roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy.
• Interface with users to determine needs and requirements.
• Manage architectural data across products and teams.
