Qualifications

• Strong customer-service skills.
• Experience with a multi-line phone system is required.
• Proficient computer skills with MS-Office.
• Experience in Data Entry, Medical Records, Health Care, Insurance Claims, and editing documents.
• Able to stay organized and detail-oriented.
• Must pass annual HIPAA exam.
• Must complete 90-day ROI Certification course with 85%+ score.

Responsibilities

• Answer and conduct business on the telephone with excellent customer service.
• Handle release of information calls and inquiries accurately and timely.
• Research, resolve, and respond to inquiries via phone, email, or written correspondence.
• Document calls and resolutions in the software systems.
• Follow department and site procedures; meet productivity and quality expectations.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional rapport with colleagues and management.
• Communicate problems or incidents promptly to supervision.
• Attend required trainings and in-service meetings as directed.
• Maintain acceptable attendance and report to work as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
