Job summary

GSK is seeking a Health Informatics Manager in Market Access. This field-based role covers MN, IA, SD, MO, IL, WI, MT, WY, ND, NE, KS, with field input across US health systems.

You will translate data insights into practical opportunities to improve patient identification, workflows, and operational efficiency, while aligning HIT capabilities with customer needs and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
• 2+ years in health informatics or EHR-related roles.
• Experience with major EHR platforms (Athenahealth, Epic, Cerner, etc.).
• Customer-facing experience assessing needs across teams.
• Experience with health systems, IDNs, or large provider groups.
• Experience in Oncology, Respiratory, Infectious Diseases or related areas.
• Experience with product launches, EHR optimization, or digital health.
• Epic or other major EHR vendor certification; RHIA/RHIT/CPHIMS desirable.
• Advanced degree in health informatics or related field.
• Strong emotional intelligence and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer workflows and EHR readiness to identify opportunities.
• Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled resources and evaluate potential use.
• Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement.
• Serve as HIT SME across Market Access and other GSK units.
• Ensure customer ownership of governance decisions within policy guidelines.
