Job summary

March of Dimes is seeking a Health Education Program Service Coordinator to coordinate and implement professional continuing education programming that aligns with the Ready for Life NC preconception health goals, including webinars and trainings in North Carolina, with external partners.

The role requires 2–4 years of health education experience, a four-year college degree (Master’s preferred), and strong skills in developing education programs and building partnerships.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience in health education or related field.
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of health education/promotion principles and maternal health.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the grant’s professional continuing education programs, including live webinars, regional trainings, and enduring content modules, with external partners.
• Assists in researching and developing program topics and identifying potential expert speakers within North Carolina.
• Develops targeted marketing strategies for professional education programs.
• Supports planning and implementation of a biennial statewide preconception health conference.
• Collaborates with team members to respond to opportunities, representing the Ready for Life NC program as needed.
• Attends national and state March of Dimes meetings.
