State Collection Service, Inc. is seeking Remote Health Care Customer Service Representatives to join our fast-growing team. You will handle inbound and outbound calls in a high-tech setting, resolving questions on insurance, financial assistance, and processing payments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience working in a Call Center or Customer Service where interaction with the public was daily.
• Knowledge/experience of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance and/or healthcare administration preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Strong organization skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and Saturdays as required by the business
• Bilingual candidates provide additional support for bilingual calls

Responsibilities

• Make and answer calls in the name of the client to resolve billing and payment issues using established work queues and call pools
• Respond to requests for information from patients/accounts in a professional, thorough manner
• Pursue payment or payment arrangements on behalf of the client as appropriate
• Follow client-specific protocols and policies
• Investigate and respond to client inquiries as needed
• Enter and monitor payment arrangements
• Adhere to all FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA and other applicable laws
