Job summary

Cyberhaven is seeking a Director of Product Design to lead Flow, a unified data security platform for security analysts and experts. You will set the experience vision, define interaction patterns for human and AI-agent workflows, and guide a small team of designers and researchers who make it real.

This hands-on leadership role requires building and scaling design systems, partnering closely with product management and engineering, and steering complex tradeoffs with evidence and customer

Qualifications

• Proven track record in product design for complex enterprise software.
• Experience leading design teams and crafting end-to-end design systems.
• Strong ability to translate user research into product decisions.
• Experience with security or data-centric enterprise domains is a plus.
• Experience designing AI-powered or agentic experiences with trust and explainability.
• Excellent communication with executives and cross-functional partners.
• Ability to ship patterns and surfaces that actually ship and scale.
• Strong information architecture and usability focus across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for Flow and related platforms across analyst workflows to platform cohesion.
• Define interaction patterns for agent-assisted investigations, human-in-the-loop decisions, explainability, and control.
• Lead, coach, and grow a design team; raise craft standards and defend design decisions.
• Own UX research; base work on customer interviews, usability tests, support signals, and instrumentation.
• Partner with product management and engineering early to shape problems and scope.
• Build and evolve design systems for fast, consistent shipping across teams.
• Establish design metrics: usability, task success, time to resolution, adoption.
• Drive migration work to Flow to ensure customers want the move.
• Represent customer experience in executive reviews with honest status and roadmaps.
