Cyberhaven is seeking a Director of Product Design in San Francisco to lead Flow, a unified data security platform for analysts and leadership. You will set the experience vision, define interaction patterns for human and agentic workflows, and lead designers, researchers, and design systems that scale with the product.
You will partner with the CPO, product management, engineering, and customer experience, while staying hands-on to shape strategy and raise the craft bar for the team.
Cyberhaven is building Flow, a unified data security platform spanning Human Data Security, Agentic Data Security, and Data Security Posture Management. The people who use it are security analysts, insider-risk investigators, and data protection leaders — experts doing demanding work under time pressure, who live in our product all day. And increasingly they are not working alone: AI agents are becoming actors inside the enterprise and inside our product, which means the experience we design now has to serve both the human doing the judging and the agent doing the work.
We are looking for a Director of Product Design to lead our design team and own what Flow feels like to use. You will set the experience vision for the platform, define the interaction patterns for a generation of security work that is part human and part agentic, and lead the designers and researchers who make it real.
You will lead a small, talented team of designers and will partner directly with the CPO, product management, engineering, and customer experience, and you will operate as the design voice in the rooms where the roadmap and scope get decided. This is a hands‑on leadership role: you will raise the craft bar and grow your team, and still be close enough to the work to have an independent point of view about what we should build.
Joining Cyberhaven means joining the team building Data Security for the Agentic Enterprise. Traditional tools fall short. Cyberhaven traces the full lifecycle of your data, adapting protection to changing context, so protection moves with the way people actually work, not against it. AI Changed Work. We Protect It.
Backed by $250M from leading investors like Khosla and Redpoint, our team includes leaders who built industry-defining technologies at CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, Meta, Google, and more. This role lets you shape the future of data security, working alongside people driven to protect workflows, not just data, for customers who cannot afford to slow down to stay safe.
As part of Cyberhaven's hiring process, we use recruiting tools that include AI-powered features to help with tasks like scheduling, note-taking, workflow automation, and other recruiting activities ("AI Tools"). The AI Tools may process information you provide during the application and interview process. When AI-assisted interview note taking is used, candidates are notified in advance and have the option to opt out of the AI-assisted interview note taking.
