Job summary

Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Field Force Effectiveness to drive analytics and governance for customer-facing teams across Commercial and Medical Affairs.

You will translate strategy into execution through field reporting, targeting, and aligned cross-functional initiatives. You will shape KPI definitions, dashboards, and governance while partnering with leadership to optimize field productivity and performance across programs and markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7–8+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech or healthcare industry experience.
• Experience in field force effectiveness, sales/medical operations or analytics.
• Experience supporting customer-facing field teams (Sales/Medical Affairs).
• Strong cross-functional collaboration experience.
• CRM experience; Veeva CRM preferred.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and Excel/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to define field force effectiveness priorities.
• Translate strategy into execution with cross-functional alignment.
• Identify opportunities to improve field productivity and execution quality.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve field performance.
• Define and manage field KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
• Monitor performance trends and derive actionable insights.
• Lead business reviews and senior leadership updates.
