Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; college degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a sales position.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment and maintain high activity levels.
• Proven track record of sales success and strong presentation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities and pursue new prospects.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals and follow up through the sales cycle.
• Organize and complete documentation for clients to move to Paylocity.
• Coordinate with internal departments for smooth client transitions.
• Develop prospects via telemarketing, referrals, and networks.
• Build relationships within the broker channel and other sources.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to identify needs for additional services.
• Attend trade shows and events to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quota for the territory.
