Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a proactive Sales & Marketing professional to prospect, develop client relationships, and close new and expanded sales agreements in a fully remote US role. You will target medium-sized businesses and drive revenue through a consultative sales approach.

Work from home five days a week, with collaboration across departments to ensure successful client onboarding and sustained growth. Strong communication, presentation, and time-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a sales role
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a competitive field and maintain high activity levels

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities with prospective clients
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to clients
• Prepare and present proposals and follow up through the sales cycle
• Coordinate documentation for client onboarding to Paylocity system
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions for clients
• Develop prospects via telemarketing, referrals and other sources
• Maintain relationships with brokers and referral sources
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
