Datavant seeks an HCC Auditor to review coded medical records, ensuring accurate representation of patient conditions for risk adjustment and reimbursement. You will translate clinical documentation into precise codes reflecting health status and confirm accuracy of work.

You will audit charts, adapt to various client guidelines, and maintain high quality while collaborating in weekly reviews. A strong background in HCC coding, auditing, and ICD-10 is required for this remote-capable role.

Qualifications

• 2 years of HCC Coding experience.
• 2 years of HCC Auditing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10.
• AHIMA or AAPC certification credentials are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology and disease processes.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Audit coded charts per client guidelines.
• Adapt to different client guidelines with minimal difficulty.
• Maintain a 95% quality average at a diagnosis level.
• Respond to rebuttals entered on the auditor by coders or auditors.
• Participate in weekly coding project review meetings.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the quality supervisor.
