Job summary

Datavant is seeking a qualified HCC Auditor to review medical records coded in ICD-10, ensuring accurate risk adjustment representations for reimbursement. You will audit charts, adapt to multiple client guidelines, and maintain a 95% quality standard at the diagnosis level.

The role requires 2 years' HCC coding and auditing experience, AHIMA or AAPC credentials, and ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment. Excellent communication and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years' HCC coding experience.
• 2 years' HCC auditing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10.
• High school diploma or GED.
• AHIMA or AAPC credentials.
• Strong medical terminology knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; remote capable.

Responsibilities

• Audit coded charts assigned by quality supervisor per the client guidelines.
• Move between different client guidelines with ease.
• Maintain a 95% quality average at a diagnosis level.
• Answer rebuttals entered on the auditor by coders or auditors.
• Participate in weekly coding project review meetings.
• Perform other tasks as requested by the quality supervisor.
