Job summary

Datavant seeks an HCC Auditor to review medical records coded in a standardized system, ensuring accurate reflection of patient conditions for risk adjustment and reimbursement purposes. You will translate clinical documentation into precise codes and verify the accuracy of the work in a fast-paced environment.

Audit charts per client guidelines, adapt to different guidelines, maintain a 95% quality average at diagnosis level, and participate in weekly reviews.

Qualifications

• 2 years' HCC Coding experience.
• 2 years' HCC Auditing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with high quality.

Responsibilities

• Audit coded charts per client guidelines.
• Move between different sets of client guidelines with ease.
• Maintain a 95% quality average at a diagnosis level.
• Address rebuttals entered by coders/auditors.
• Participate in weekly coding project review meetings.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by the quality supervisor.
