Job summary

Datavant is seeking an experienced HCC Auditor to review medical records coded in ICD-10, ensuring accurate reflection of patient conditions for risk adjustment and reimbursement. You will translate clinical documentation into precise codes while upholding high quality, in a remote work setting.

The role requires 2 years of HCC coding and auditing, strong medical knowledge, and AHIMA or AAPC credentials. You will participate in weekly meetings and collaborate with the quality team to maintain

Qualifications

• 2 years' HCC Coding experience
• 2 years' HCC Auditing experience
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• AHIMA or AAPC credentialing required
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharma/disease processes
• Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, independent role
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable in remote work environments

Responsibilities

• Audit coded charts per client guidelines
• Move between different client guidelines with ease
• Maintain a 95% quality average at a diagnosis level
• Respond to rebuttals entered on the auditor by coders or auditors
• Participate in weekly coding project review meetings
• Perform other tasks as requested by the quality supervisor
