Loft Orbital is seeking a Technical Sourcer to identify and engage highly specialized hardware and engineering talent for confidential missions. This remote six-month contract involves proactive sourcing, market mapping, and crafting targeted pipelines in collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience, focused on hardware and engineering talent.
• Proactive headhunting using LinkedIn Recruiter, advanced Boolean search, talent mapping, and creative sourcing techniques.
• Experience sourcing hardware engineering disciplines including CAD, PCB design, embedded systems, firmware, RF/wireless, systems engineering, and hardware test.
• Strong understanding of hardware concepts and terminology (embedded systems, microcontrollers, FPGA, RF).
• Proven ability to engage passive candidates for niche, specialized engineering roles.
• Experience outreach, candidate interest generation, and initial tech alignment screening before handing to recruiters.
• Ability to develop sourcing strategies and pipelines for multiple requisitions; strong market mapping skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; effective in a remote environment.
