Job summary

Loft Orbital is seeking a Technical Sourcer on a six-month remote contract to identify and engage highly specialized hardware engineers. You will build pipelines, map talent markets, and collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to fill challenging roles across hardware disciplines.

You’ll leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, advanced Boolean search, and market intelligence to identify passive candidates and develop scalable sourcing strategies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience with hardware/engineering focus.
• Strong proactive headhunting and Boolean search skills.
• Experience sourcing across hardware engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, embedded, firmware, RF, systems, hardware test).
• Ability to build and manage pipelines for multiple requisitions.

Responsibilities

• Develop targeted sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for complex hardware roles.
• Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools.
• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to map markets and define candidate profiles.
• Screen for basic technical alignment and present strong candidates to recruiters.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline activity in ATS.
• Communicate Loft’s mission and opportunities to passive talent.
