Avalara is seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Sourcer for our GTM team to power our technical hiring engines. This high-impact, individual-contributor role builds diverse pipelines for core Go-to-Market roles, from senior ICs to executives.

You will partner with technical recruiters and hiring managers to uncover passive talent, provide market intelligence, and advocate for candidates within a fast-growing SaaS environment. This role embraces remote work and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of total recruiting experience, with at least 5+ years focused on hiring (Go-to-Market) within a global enterprise or top-tier retained/executive search firm.
• Deep technical sourcing expertise with the ability to independently build, calibrate, and refine high-quality candidate pipelines for hard-to-find technical talent at all levels.
• Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of functional requirements across GTM.
• Prior experience partnering across time zones and cultures within a distributed, global Talent Acquisition team structure.
• Strong presence and situational awareness in high-level conversations—listening, advising, and influencing strategically.

Responsibilities

• Build Proactive Pipelines: Design and execute advanced sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and attract passive talent.
• Act as a Market Advisor: Partner with recruiters and GTM leaders to understand role requirements and provide market insights.
• Curate High-Quality Sourcing Slates: Deliver diverse candidate slates with speed and precision.
• Elevate Candidate Experience: Maintain transparent communication and showcase Avalara’s technical stack and culture.
• Collaborate on Global Initiatives: Share best practices and optimize sourcing templates across teams.
• Navigate Ambiguity & Scale: Manage multiple searches across product and engineering domains with consistency.
