Job summary

UpGuard is seeking a GTM systems engineer to own the systems powering our go-to-market motion. You’ll start hands-on administering the GTM stack and evolve into architectural ownership of how CRM, CPQ/billing, and CS tools fit together.

You’ll collaborate with Revenue Operations on integrations, data integrity and access control, and you’ll expand into adjacent tools with the same systems-thinking approach.

Qualifications

• Hands-on building and maintaining a CRM system (1–3 years).
• Ability to articulate architectural choices and data access patterns.
• Experience with security concepts: profiles, permissions, field-level security.

Responsibilities

• Administer and improve GTM stack: users, objects, fields, workflows, automations, integrations, and data hygiene.
• Design and enforce data-layer access controls; ensure permissions align with user roles.
• Build automation for deal-stage gates, territory logic, and sales workflow actions.
• Collaborate with Rev Ops on CRM, CPQ/billing, and CS system integrations; drive cross-system decisions.
• Tackle projects across related tools (Sales Engagement, CS platforms, enrichment).
• Document implementations with clear SOPs and process documentation.
