Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join our growth-focused team. You will drive market research, generate leads, and support acquisition efforts while coordinating cross-functional projects across the organization.

The role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce. Remote position available for residents of PA, DE, MD, NJ, OH, FL, TX, and VA, with occasional travel for meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, acquisitions, project management, or a related role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform growth strategies.
• Generate leads and build a pipeline of prospective opportunities.
• Support acquisition activities, including documentation, procurement tracking, and compliance.
• Represent Merakey at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Coordinate business development projects from inception through completion.
• Maintain pipeline trackers, run reports, and provide insights to leadership.
• Assist with RFP responses, grant proposals, and other procurement activities.
