Job summary

cKinetics is seeking a Business Development Lead for its cCarbon division to expand the North American low carbon fuels market. The role focuses on building trusted relationships with analysts, traders, and C-suite buyers and converting a robust frontier of opportunities into revenue.

You will lead engagements across LCFS, RFS, CFR and related programs, growing the client base while shaping market insights and advisory services. Remote/hybrid in North America with global relevance.

Qualifications

• Domain fluency: hands-on experience in carbon, low carbon fuels, or environmental markets with credible knowledge of clean fuel credit markets.
• Commercial track record: 5–8 years of B2B / enterprise sales with quota attainment and >$1M pipeline built from scratch.
• Stakeholder range: experience engaging at analyst to C-suite level.
• Operating style: independent, fast-paced, entrepreneurial with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a healthy pipeline across obligated parties, producers, traders, and investors.
• Use a consultative approach to align client goals with cCarbon’s services and demonstrate measurable value.
• Serve as trusted advisor on market insights and regulatory trends, nurturing long-term relationships.
• Lead client interactions end to end: demos, consultations, negotiations, and revenue conversion.
• Represent cCarbon at events, webinars, and conferences to expand the client base.
