Job summary

Fleetio is seeking a Software Engineer for Growth to help users realize value quickly by improving onboarding, adoption, and engagement. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to build customer-facing features and experiments that drive measurable outcomes.

The role emphasizes thoughtful product development, clean code, and data-informed decisions in a remote setting across the US, Canada, or Mexico.

Qualifications

• Experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Exposure to A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, or feature flagging.
• Familiarity with product analytics or user behavior tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap.
• Experience building full-stack web applications and customer-facing features.
• Understanding of OO programming and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Writing efficient database queries and working with application data.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ruby on Rails experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Data Operations, and Engineers to deliver high-quality product experiences.
• Design and implement features that improve onboarding, adoption, and long-term engagement.
• Help build experiments that validate product ideas and measure customer impact.
• Contribute to technical discussions and balance customer value with technical excellence.
• Deliver well-tested, maintainable, and performant code.
• Prototype solutions and iterate quickly from customer feedback and product insights.
